The first-floor open-plan living concept is a sociable space to relax with a corner sofa and Smart TV, set against the ocean backdrop with a far-reaching vista to Godrevy lighthouse. Here, you can access your private glass balustrade balcony, with a bijou table and chairs for sunshine coffee and evening drinks.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything for the chef to muster up good food, and hearty breakfasts can be eaten at the breakfast bar. Gather around the dining table for dinner feasts, while you plan the next day’s excursion. The main bathroom has a bath with a shower-over, to freshen up before your adventures, completing the first floor you will find a twin bedroom.
A spiral staircase winds down to the ground floor, where the master bedroom beckons, guaranteeing a relaxing space to rest your head, with a king-size bed, TV and an en-suite shower room for a refreshing morning blitz. There is a study/snug area with a desk and chair leading to the private and enclosed rear garden, a haven for alfresco dining, barbecues and sun lounging.
When you are ready to discover the county, the local railway station is close by, whilst Blue Flag status Carbis Bay Beach and Hayle Beach are close by where you can easily reach the coastal trail as well. Before St. Ives, stroll along sandy Porthgwidden Beach, explore the Tate St. Ives, or learn about Penwith Gallery, stock up on the necessities at a nearby convenience shop or eat along the shore.
The abundance of restaurants in Carbis Bay and St Ives will suit all tastebuds. Travelling south, make sure to stop at Penzance Harbour, a colourful spot where you can people watch before dining at The Boatshed, offering fresh local fayre. Continue around the bay to Newlyn Tolcarne Beach and the nearby Newlyn Art Gallery.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead.
Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore.
The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary.
