Behind the doors at Rock Cottage, you will find a warm and welcoming open-plan area, where you can unwind after a day of exploration. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare some wonderful home-cooked grub, which can be enjoyed at the dining table. Later on, head to the sitting area, where you can snuggle up in front of the TV and enjoy the warming glow of the woodburning stove.
Outside, the enclosed front patio is a perfect spot for alfresco dining, enjoying a morning coffee, or having a glass of red while watching the sunset. From here, you can take in the ambience of the crystal clear waves crashing against the rocks in the evening breeze. When it's time to rest, the cottage offers two restful bedrooms, a double and a twin, both decorated in a tasteful, coastal style.
The bathroom is well-appointed with a bath and an overhead shower providing a relaxing space to freshen up with either a hot soak in the tub or a steamy rinse under the shower. When you're able to tear yourself away from the comfort of Rock Cottage, embark on a day exploring the Lost Gardens of Heligan, discovering the lush greenery and history this renowned spot has to offer.
Head to Mevagissey Inner Harbour and watch as colourful boats bob gently in the tide or take a leisurely stroll along the stone Mevagissey Harbour Wall, providing sweeping views of the sea. Rich in history, Caerhays Castle is a captivating day's trip, boasting beautiful gardens and architecture. Soak up the sun on the scenic Vault Beach, perhaps take a dip into the crystal waters, and wander to the National Trust site, The Dodman, to witness spectacular panoramic views of the Cornish coast.

The perfect Cornish fishing village, with winding cobbled streets and a picturesque harbour full of boats. Stunning walks lead along the coast in both directions, with sandy beaches, high cliffs and hidden coves to explore. The village has an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants, whilst just up the road are the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
A ferry from Mevagissey to Fowey also runs daily between Easter and September. Spend some time at the Tall Ships harbour at Charlestown (7 miles) with its shipwreck museum, or among the tropical biomes of the world-famous Eden Project (11 miles). The stunning coastline, fabulous beaches and renowned gardens of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula are a short drive down the coast while Truro, with its shops, restaurants, theatre and cathedral can be reached by car in half an hour.
