Port Isaac is a real Cornish gem. The old settlement in the valley, formerly known for fishing, slate export, and smuggling, has remained almost untouched since the turn of the last century. With easy access to the village's numerous restaurants and stores, there are numerous modest character residences as well as larger cliff-top getaways to choose from. As the tide goes out, the sandy harbour becomes a haven for rock pools.
