Upstairs are two further king-size bedrooms, sharing another family bathroom, whilst for those looking for peace and solitude away from the main house, the final en-suite double bedroom is across the garden in a separate annex, complete with its own private decking and Juliet balcony, a wonderful spot for sundowners! Those who love the outdoors will not be disappointed either, as the garden is both spacious and well-designed.

With a beautiful lawn and superb, furnished patio area accessed via the main living area, there are ample places to dine alfresco, relax with a good book, or simply settle down to soak up the Cornish sunshine. Nearby Rock’s butchers, fish mongers, bakery and other amenities are within a short walk, whilst the pretty family-friendly Daymer Bay is only a short 10-minute drive or 40-minute walk away, providing the ideal spot for a day at the beach, swimming, surfing and sandcastle building.

For foodies, why not catch the ferry from Rock over to Padstow, where you can try out Rick Stein’s famed restaurants and devour ice creams on the harbour side. With so much to do on the doorstep of Sandy Lodge, this is a very special family retreat in an excellent location.
